The Serbian Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, in collaboration with the Milmedic Cinic and the Synfinity agency, is organizing a basic PHACO course with a wet lab titled "Phacoemulsification – 1st level"

The professional course “OCT from A to Z – The Fundamentals that Make a Difference in Practice” will be held on February 6, 2026, and registrations will open on December 31, 2025.

Professional course “Contemporary Trends in the Application of Anti-VEGF Therapy – Wetlab”, successfully held on October 3, 2025, at the Milmedic Clinic, organized by the Vitreoretinal Association of Serbia.

The Vitreoretinal Association of Serbia (SVRS/VRUS) is organizing a course dedicated to the latest approaches in anti-VEGF therapy and the treatment of macular diseases. The course will be held on October 3, 2025, at the premises of the Milmedic Hospital.

The Retina Summit, titled "Synergy in the Visual Field", was recently held at Hotel Crni Vrh, Divčibare, in collaboration with Hemofarm and Roche.

At the IV Congress of Ophthalmologists of the Republic of Srpska, held from May 22–24, 2025, our doctors Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljevic, Prof. Dr. Dragana Ristic, and Dr. Elisaveta Stanic represented Milmedic Clinic as speakers, sharing their clinical experience through the presentation of interesting real-world cases.

Our doctor Elisaveta Stanić had the honor of participating, by invitation, in the Educational RetiNA Meeting held on May 16th, organized by Théa.

The 41st Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), the leading European organization in the field of cataract and refractive eye surgery, was recently held in Vienna.

The 23rd Congress of Vitreoretinal Surgeons of Italy, with international participation, was held from June 8th to 10th in Trieste. Among the invited speakers were Milmedic Clinic’s expert consultants - Prof. Miroslav Vukosavljević, Dr. Nenad Petrović, and Assoc. Prof. Dragana Ristić.

The 22nd Congress of Ophthalmologists of Serbia, with international participation, was held from June 1st to 4th, 2023, in Vrnjacka Banja, bringing together a large number of ophthalmologists from across the region.

At a recently held expert meeting of ophthalmologists at the Hilton Hotel in Belgrade, organized by our long-time partner Amicus-Alcon, Milmedic Clinic was represented by our ophthalmologists Dr. Elisaveta Stanic and Dr. Marija Karatoli, as well as our expert consultant Dr. Nenad Petrovic.

At a recently held ophthalmic surgery training at the Alcon Training Center in Barcelona, our doctors Elisaveta Stanic and Marija Karatoli had the opportunity to further advance their expertise.

At the 13th International Ophthalmology Symposium, organized by the Ophthalmology Association of Macedonia and held on February 25th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Skopje, Dr. Marija Karatoli from Milmedic Clinic participated as an invited guest.

The ophthalmology congress titled “Innovations in Ophthalmology”, held in Skopje on December 23rd, brought together a large number of experts from Serbia, Turkey, and North Macedonia.

The 8th National Congress of the Hypertension Society of Serbia with International Participation was held at the Hotel Mona Plaza in Belgrade from 24–26 November.

The first International Conference "The Future of Biotechnology" was held today, organised by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with the World Economic Forum and with the support of the United Nations Development Programme.

The third Congress of Ophthalmologists of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina with International Participation recently concluded in Banja Luka.

We attended yet another edition of what has now become a traditional event - the 8th Symposium with International Participation "Contemporary Trends in Ophthalmic Surgery", held on 23 September and organised by the Clinic for Eye Diseases of the Military Medical Academy.

At the recently held symposium "A Healthy View of the World", organised by the Clinic for Eye Diseases of the University Clinical Centre of Serbia in collaboration with Unimed Pharma, our doctors Elisaveta Stanić and Marija Žakula were also in attendance.

The 21st Congress of Ophthalmologists of Serbia with International Participation was held in Vrdnik from 26–29 May 2022.

On 09 October 2015, the course entitled "Contemporary Trends in the Treatment of Macular Disease" was successfully held at our clinic. Participants had the opportunity to take part in a Wet Lab — a practical application of Anti-VEGF therapy on an experimental eye model.

Doctors from Milmedic Special Hospital participated in the First Congress of Ophthalmologists of Republika Srpska with International Participation, held in Bijeljina, at the Stanišići Ethno Village, from 29–31 May 2015, with the attendance of numerous speakers from across the region.

On 26 September 2014, the Founding Assembly of the Association of Private Healthcare Institutions and Private Practices of Serbia was held. Milmedic Special Hospital is one of the founding members. The representatives of Milmedic Special Hospital and members of the Board of Directors are Marija Jeremić, Legal Advisor, and Brankica Milovanović, Advisor for Economic Affairs.

Doctors from Milmedic Special Hospital participated in various sessions with oral presentations.

On Saturday, 31 May 2014, a Basic Phaco Course with a WET LAB was held at Milmedic. It consisted of a theoretical part, with lectures by Prof. Dr Miroslav Vukosavljević, Dr Vladimir Draganić, Dr Mirko Resan and Dr Marko Kontić.
