Prof. dr Dejan Rašić is an ophthalmology specialist, ophthalmic surgeon and ophthalmic pathologist with over 20 years of experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of eye diseases. Throughout his career, he has performed more than 20,000 surgical procedures across various areas of ophthalmic surgery - while in ophthalmic pathology, he has years of experience with a large number of biopsies analyzed annually.

He is Professor at the Department of Ophthalmology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade - actively involved in the education of students and young physicians. He is author and co-author of over 130 scientific papers and chapters in professional publications. He is also co-author of 13 chapters in the WHO Classification of Eye Tumors (2018).

Prof. dr Rašić is one of the few specialists in the region dedicated to the screening and treatment of eye conditions in premature infants - including the diagnosis and monitoring of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). Early diagnosis in this area can be critical for preserving vision in the youngest patients.
