The Course “Contemporary Trends in the Application of Anti-VEGF Therapy – Wetlab” Successfully Held
We would like to reflect on the professional course “Contemporary Trends in the Application of Anti-VEGF Therapy – Wetlab”, successfully held on October 3, 2025, at the Milmedic Clinic, organized by the Vitreoretinal Association of Serbia.
The course was dedicated to sharing knowledge and practical experience in modern approaches to the treatment of macular diseases and the application of anti-VEGF therapy. It brought together ophthalmologists from various healthcare institutions across Serbia and the region, with the goal of exchanging and advancing knowledge and practical skills in this field.
Prof. Dr. Dragana Ristić and Dr. Elisaveta Stanić not only delivered oral presentations but also served as demonstrators for the application of anti-VEGF therapy, while Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević and Dr. Nenad Petrović presented cases of some of the most common retinal diseases, such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vein occlusion.
The program included lectures on the latest clinical studies and real-world experiences, as well as a practical segment in the form of a wetlab session.
We would like to thank all participants, lecturers, and partners for their valuable contribution to the successful realization and high quality of this professional event. We look forward to future educational programs – stay tuned for more updates on https://www.vrus.rs/home/.
