Laser iridotomy
Milmedic Clinic uses the latest generation of NdYAG lasers for interventions in the front segment of the eye. Indications are the state of elevated intraocular pressure - glaucoma, a secondary cataract etc.
All intervention can be performed in the sitting position, under local anesthetic drops, painless, and only few minutes long .
For each of these interventions we use a special, high-quality contact magnifying glass.
NdYAG laser iridotomy - laser beam acts on STRIPES (iris) and the creation of filtering apertures, improves the circulation of aqueous humor and regulates elevated intraocular pressure. Indication is narrow angle glaucoma.
